Heavy Haul Solutions Specialist

The Heavy Haul / Flatbed Solutions Specialist will have an integral role in upholding R2 Logistics’ standard of outstanding customer service in the 3PL industry. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing customer-centric solutions design in relation to developing new business opportunities, managing existing Heavy Haul accounts, and ensuring service execution.
 
Account Executives are responsible for:
  • Ensuring quality assurance from both R2 Logistics’ Heavy Haul account management as well as service execution from carriers
  • Conducting P&L account reviews
  • Creating account-specific targets for profitable growth of existing Heavy Haul / Flatbed customers and executing strategies to achieve these targets
  • Identifying market trends and capitalizing on new contract Heavy Haul opportunities
  • Ensuring that R2 Logistics’ support departments drive value for new and existing Heavy Haul customers through providing on and off-site training sessions
  • Continually informing R2 personnel of market trends, Heavy Haul opportunities, new customers, and progress, regarding current targets
  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with carriers to ensure process excellence
  • Continually developing effective Heavy Haul strategies to expand R2 Logistics’ customer solutions capabilities
 R2 Logistics is Looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of leadership experience in Heavy Haul required
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to project management that focuses around process discipline and measurement
  • Experience managing revenue and cost
  • Proven success in anticipating and capitalizing on market opportunities
  • Effective negotiation skills that are focused on achieving a mutual benefit for both the customer and R2 Logistics
